The national container ship queue rose **33% week over week** to **8 ships awaiting berth** (MARAD and Marine Exchange), but remains **52% below the five-year median**. At LA/Long Beach, the queue fell to **1 ship awaiting berth** (MARAD/Marine Exchange), down 50% on the week and at its trailing-12-month normal. Both LA/Long Beach and NY/NJ are reading Flowing on import friction.
